A part of the IHSS Research Programme Global Epistemologies talks series and in collaboration with the Forum on Decentring the Human

Dr Jonathan Birch, Associate Professor of Philosophy Logic and Scientific Method (LSE), Dr Andrew Crump, Lecturer on Animal Welfare & Cognition (Royal Veterinary College, LSE) and Dr John Adenitire, Senior Lecturer in Law and Co-director of the Forum on Decentering the Human (Queen Mary University of London) will discuss what counts as evidence of animal sentience and how it relates to their legal protection.

The discussion will be moderated by Dr Mario Slugan, Senior Lecturer in Film Studies and Director of the IHSS Research Programme Global Epistemologies (Queen Mary University of London).
