Policies, Support, and EDI resources
The School supports Flexible Working for all staff and facilitates this by requiring meetings to be held within core hours (10am-4pm). Professional Staff are able to adjust their daily hours by arrangement with their line managers, and academic staff can organise their own time as appropriate around teaching, research, or administrative commitments. EECS also promotes meeting-free Fridays.
Staff Networks
QMUL has a number of staff-led networks providing voice, opportunity and connection for different groups of staff:
Diversity and Inclusion Calendar
QMUL each year creates a Diversity and Inclusion Calendar to mark and celebrate a number of equality, diversity and inclusion events throughout the year. Paper copies of this calendar are usually available at EDI-related events within SBBS and S&E.
