BLOC is a new cinema, arts lab & post-production suite on Mile End Road in East London

The film and drama research facility is made up of:

1. a 60 seater accessible cinema
2. a white box gallery space made for immersive projection
3. a black box motion capture and a production studio
4. a post-production suite

The venue hosts film screenings, exhibitions, performance experiments, conferences and events.

The core programme is defined by our key stakeholders in Film, Drama, Electronic Engineering and Computer Science and People’s Palace Projects.

BLOC welcomes booking enquiries from all of QMUL as well as external community and commercial hires. We have affordable rates and partnerships for all.
