Mental Health

Taking care of your mental health is just as important as your physical health. There are lots of support and resources available to you as a Queen Mary student to help you look after your wellbeing.

  • If you have a mental health condition, be sure to register with a GP so you can access the support and medicine you may need.
  • The Disability and Dyslexia Service can help you navigate university life and access support and adjustments for mental health conditions and other disabilities.
  • The Advice and Counselling Service offer support and resources for mental and emotional wellbeing.
  • St Benets Chaplaincy is open to all students, whatever your beliefs, and offers mindfulness sessions, creative workshops, and one to one support by the chaplain, Ella Sharples.
  • Togetherall is a free online resource where you can chat to others about what’s on your mind at any time of the day.
  • The Wisdom app is available for free to Queen Mary students, and includes lots of wellbeing resources such as interactive mood trackers, four week health plans, guided breathing exercises, and healthy recipes.
