Profile

  • Co-ordination of the work of the technical team that supports teaching activities across different buildings and laboratories within the School.
  • Ensure effective provision of high-quality technical support service for all the practical classes during the two teaching terms and for research projects within the School during the summer.
  • Ensure that appropriate COSHH/BioCOSHH and Risk Assessment procedures are developed and followed for all laboratory activities, promoting a safety culture within the teaching laboratories.
  • Day-to-day operational management of the teaching laboratories and associated resources.
