In this organismal biology and biological and experimental psychology seminar, Dr Tim Newbold, Research Fellow in Genetics, Evolution and Environment at University College London (UCL) will deliver a talk on 'Predicting how climate change and habitat loss will interact to drive biodiversity changes'.
Based at UCL's Centre for Biodiversity and Environment Research, Dr Newbold's research broadly concerns understanding and predicting how human activities are reshaping ecological communities. He is currently leading a project that seeks to quantify the interacting effects of land use and climate on biodiversity, and to make predictions about the future effects of these pressures.
