IVIS Lumina III Fluorescence and Bioluminescence camera

The IVIS Lumina III is capable of imaging both fluorescent and bioluminescent reporters. The system is equipped with up to 26 filter sets that can be used to image reporters that emit from green to near-infrared. Superior spectral unmixing can be achieved by Lumina III’s optional high resolution short cut off filters.

High sensitivity CCD for bioluminescence or fluorescence imaging. High throughput with 12.5cm field of view. 50 micron resolution with 5cm field of view. 26 fluorescence filters, wavelength ranges from 500-865nm. Spectral unmixing using discrete bandpass filters. Image multiple probes/reporters. Controls all settings in the IVIS system (fully computer controlled). Provides advanced cataloging and browsing tools. Provides analysis tools for quantification. Instrument settings are analogous to photography. Images are acquired in a two step process.
