Professor Phillip Cowley, from the School of Politics at Queen Mary has written an opinion piece for the Times about the upcoming UK local elections this May. He writes: "All elections are important, but some are more important than others — and this is a bumper crop, the result of contests already scheduled for this year combining with those postponed from last year."
