Why this Tory lead is so fragile

Published:

Professor of Politics in the School of Politics and International Relations, Professor Philip Cowley, wrote an article for Daily Mail discussing the fragility of the Conservative party lead in the polls. He writes: “Last night’s revised poll by YouGov, the most detailed of the campaign, predicted a lead of nine points – and a Conservative majority. Normally a party in this sort of position would be considered to have the election pretty much in the bag. Yet there are still several reasons for Conservatives to fear a hung parliament on December 13.”
