A poll of 1,700 adults were asked how they thought a range fictional characters TV and film such as, Mary Poppins, Del Boy and 007 would vote in the upcoming EU referendum. The poll was more than just a bit of fun, according to Professor Philip Cowley. He said: “I think there’s something valid and useful in the exercise. It’s genuinely interesting, if you dig deep into the data you see that a lot of people are projecting their own partisan views.”PDF available on request
