Mark Bradley joins PHURI from the University of Edinburgh where he was is Professor of Chemical Biology. Mark’s work is focused on the application of chemistry to solving medical problems (chemical medicine). More than 60 PhD students have emerged from the Bradley group and overall the group has published more than 20 patents and 400 articles in the form of papers, reviews and book chapters and brings significant expertise in translating research to clinical use.
Professor Bradley’s research focuses on the application of chemistry to solving medical problems (chemical medicine). This includes development of smart materials such as “smart-probes” for clinical and pre-clinical imaging and intelligent drug delivery systems.
