Laurence joined PHURI in April 2024 as the Operations Officer and EA. He started his career in research back in July 2019 joining Kings College London as a Research Administrator for The Centre of Medical Engineering, supporting researchers and fellows with major projects. In 2021 Laurence became the Operations Officer for MAISI, a new medical device manufacturing facility based in St Thomas’ Hospital. He helped set up the facility, ensuring the project remained on track and increased the facility’s visibility to internal and external stakeholders and potential users. Laurence has been involved in some major grants and projects including KCL Check (research study on the impact of Covid-19). He has over 5 years’ experience in operations and as an executive assistant. He is excited to be a part of PHURI’s journey.
