Teachers and Advisers' Conference 2025
Queen Mary University of London welcomed more than 160 education professionals to its Mile End campus on Friday 20 June 2025 for the annual Teachers and Advisers' Conference.
Bringing together teachers and advisers from across London and the UK, the Conference provided opportunities to share expertise, build professional networks and explore the latest developments in education and higher education.
Attendees took part in a range of interactive sessions covering topics including generative AI in teaching and learning, changes to the higher education admissions landscape, and careers education. Specialist sessions focused on supporting students interested in careers in law, science and the arts, while CPD workshops offered practical guidance on personal statements and UCAS references.
Reflecting on the day, Anam Hoque, Conference Manager and Senior Officer for Student Recruitment and Widening Participation, said:
"It was fantastic to see such strong engagement from partners and delegates across the higher and further education sectors. The Conference enabled attendees to develop their knowledge, share best practice and build valuable professional connections. We're proud to deliver an event that continues to support those guiding students through their next steps."
The Conference remains an important opportunity for educators and advisers to access the latest sector insight and strengthen the support they provide to students.
