About the role:

Applications are invited for an experienced Executive Assistant to join the Wolfson Institute of Population Health. This is key role within the Institute which facilitates the smooth running of the Director’s Office through a diverse range of activities including high-level diary management, support for Executive Board Meetings, event management, and support for the Director’s Office finance and HR activities. It also involves the line management of the Director’s Office PA and two Administrative Assistants/Receptionists. You will join a friendly team to deliver high quality support as part of a busy and vibrant office at an exciting time for the Institute.

About you:

Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will have significant experience as an Executive Assistant as well as supporting decision-making boards.  You will be a motivated and proactive individual who can provide essential and effective support to the Director. You will have the ability to interact confidently with staff, visitors and students at all levels and to act as first point of contact for the Director’s office. You will have the ability to work independently and proactively with a flexible approach to work and problem-solving.

Excellent standard of written and oral English communication skills are essential, as are computer literacy and experience of successful and effective decision making.  You will demonstrate an ability to pay close attention to detail and have well-developed interpersonal and administrative skills.  You will have line management experience with the ability to motivate and develop team members.

The post is based at the Charterhouse Square Campus in London. It is a 1FTE or split via a job share, with the opportunity for hybrid working arrangements, permanent appointment. The post-holder will be expected to work 2-3 days on campus. The starting salary will be Grade 5, in the range of £42,405 - £49,785 per annum (pro-rata), inclusive of London Allowance.
