The UNIDROIT project on Bank Insolvency aims at addressing the current gap in the international legal architecture, by developing an international guidance document covering the key features of bank liquidation proceedings. The project is undertaken in cooperation with and with the support of the BIS Financial Stability Institute.

The Working Group will be formed of international experts from different legal systems along with observers from international and transnational organisations, as well as a number of central banks, supervisors, resolution authorities and deposit insurance corporations.
