The School hosts a regular lunchtime seminar series throughout the academic year, as well as the David M. Smith Annual Lecture. These events are open to all students, staff and alumni from across the University, and members of the public.
This annual lecture honours the deep contribution of Prof. David M. Smith to the School of Geography at Queen Mary. The most recent lecture ‘Wildfire Rumours And Denial In The Trump Era’ was delivered by Professor Laura Pulido (University of Oregan) on 10 December 2020.
Other events in the School are listed on our events page.
