The recognition highlights Gabryel's growing contribution to the AI research community. Reviewing for NeurIPS is a highly selective and demanding responsibility, helping to ensure the quality, rigour and fairness of the research presented at one of the field's most prestigious international conferences.
This year marked Gabryel's first time serving as a NeurIPS reviewer. After assessing more than 300 submissions to identify areas best aligned with their expertise, they were assigned four papers to review within a month-long review period. Gabryel approaches peer review with a strong commitment to supporting fellow researchers, aiming to provide feedback that is clear, concise, actionable and useful to authors. During the rebuttal period, they actively engaged with authors to encourage constructive discussion and help ensure a fair evaluation process.
Gabryel is honoured to receive this recognition and, in acknowledgement of their exceptional service, has been awarded complimentary registration to the conference. The 2026 NeurIPS conference will be hosted at the International Convention Centre in Sydney, Australia, alongside satellite hubs in Paris and Atlanta.
