This one-day event is designed specifically for first year PGRs.
This event will help you gain an understanding of the doctoral process, the skills you need to succeed in your doctorate – and beyond! – and how to navigate this process in a way that works for you. You will also have the opportunity to meet with other first-year PGRs, learn the breadth of research that is taking place across the university, and develop new working relationships.
Date & Place: Tuesday 5 March, 9:00am to 4:00pm | Bancroft Building, Room 1.13ABy the end of the session, you will:- Have a greater understanding of the doctoral process and what you want from it.- Learn what networking is really for and how to do it well.- Understand how to prioritise and take care of yourself.- Explore what research culture is and how you and your work contribute to this.
