Sarah’s research focuses on increasing engagement between rightsholders, the sports sector and human rights bodies at national, regional and international levels. Her work aims to leverage the intersections between sports and human rights and the Sustainable Development Goals and increase awareness among sport and policy actors of human rights in and through sport. This work encompasses the right to participate in sport, the protection of human rights in sport, and the contribution of sport towards other rights.
