Project title: Understanding and supporting student mental health

Summary: In this PhD, I will examine the prevalence and predictors of mental health symptoms among students at Queen Mary University of London. I will specifically investigate how demographic differences and familial context among university students might influence their mental health symptomology. In this project, I will employ both quantitative and qualitative methods. Given the high rates of mental health problems among university students, understanding how to promote resilience and wellbeing is critical.
