Our vision: Empowering students through immersive, practical learning experiences.

The idea behind qNomics was to allow students to experience a simulated working environment in which they will be able to help local businesses, start-ups and entrepreneurs in understanding questions that pose a hurdle for them in the initial stages of their business.

qNomics was established in 2015 as part of the School of Economics and Finance. It started as a small enterprise with the support of 10 students and business practitioners volunteers who were eager to help the businesses in local community and at the same time put their knowledge of economics and finance into practical application.

Since then, qNomics experienced a steady growth and now it hosts as an environment for over 50 students. Over the years students, supported by practitioners, help many businesses to better understand the questions they face in the initial stages so to increase their chances to set up a successful business.

In 2020 qNomics, became part of a bigger story within SKETCH and is now working with partners from various disciplines to promote a socially driven impact and knowledge exchange through focus for public engagement and thought-leadership activities. At the same time, we provide a fantastic service to the community by supporting its economic activity.

If you think that we can support you, or would like to support us by becoming a mentor to students, please get in touch with us.
