Tim Bale, Professor of Politics at Queen Mary was interviewed on LBC News about the vaccine uptake amongst younger people and the newly proposed incentives to get them to take it. He said: "It's certainly one way to go, I mean if you look at vaccine uptake in the younger adult groups, it's nowhere near what it should be if we are to ensure that autumn and winter doesn't turn into another disaster. So anything that the government could do, even if it's this kind of slightly gimmicky method is worth trying."
