Crucial run-off elections to the Senate

Published:

Lecturer in US Politics and Policy at Queen Mary, Dr Richard Johnson, was interviewed by the BBC News on the importance of Georgia's Senate election and how it will determine which party has control of the upper chamber of the US congress. Johnson said: "This vote is so important because the control of the United States Senate is at stake, if the Democrats win these two seats they will control both the Senate and the House of Representatives and the presidency, giving Joe Biden the ability to legislate."

This was covered on the BBC News
