Labour's Jeremy Corbyn: Redistribute UK wealth, tax the rich

Jeremy Corbyn enjoys a strong core of support in the party, as the "Oh Jeremy Corbyn" chants during his speeches have made clear. But it’s not clear that he’s been able to broaden that base enough to win a majority in Parliament. Quoted in the Daily Mail, Professor of Politics, Professor Tim Bale says Corbyn is not expanding his appeal. Professor Bale said: “Polling suggests that he's the most unpopular opposition leader that we've ever seen since polling began on leaders of the opposition back in the 1970s. He's seen as weak. He’s seen as indecisive. He's seen as unpatriotic. He's seen as soft on terrorism and crime. And he's seen as someone who simply can't make up their mind on Brexit."
