Published:

Professor Tim Bale published an opinion piece for Conservative Home about the Prime Minister’s potential replacement. He writes: “Importantly, neither Johnson nor Rees-Mogg is so far ahead of the rest of the field as to be impossible to catch.  In any case, both are likely to find it hard to make it through the parliamentary round of voting that, according to the party’s rules, narrows the field to two candidates before grassroots members are given the final say.”
