Dr Rainbow Murray, UKIP uses women’s rights as a trojan horse to attack minorities

UKIP’s recently published ‘Believing in Britain, Believing in Britain’s Women’, appears to offer a promising turnaround on the party’s reputation for women’s rights but it shouldn’t be taken at face value, writes Dr Rainbow Murray for The Conversation. “Has UKIP finally received the message that it needs to work harder to win the women’s vote? Well, maybe. But women, beware. A closer look at each policy reveals that all is not quite as it might seem,” she says.
