IGALA 11

Conference Bursaries

IGALA is offering bursaries for individuals presenting a paper at the IGALA11 conference and who would be otherwise unable to attend without IGALA support. Bursaries will cover the cost of conference registration.

A number of bursaries will be awarded in two categories:

  • Low- and Middle-Income (LMIC) Bursaries: LMIC bursaries are for conference participants currently based in a country that appears on the OECD list of Low- and Middle-Income Countries. The bursary covers conference registration.
  • Non-LMIC Student Bursaries: These bursaries are open to PhD students currently based anywhere in the world. The bursary covers conference registration.

For all bursaries, participants who have not attended an IGALA conference previously will be prioritized. Decisions about bursaries will be made by a sub-committee of the IGALA Advisory Council.

NOTE: Student applicants are required to attach a statement of support from their supervisor explaining why participation at IGALA11 is important for the applicant’s training and development. The statement should be attached to the email sent when submitting the application form.

Application details will be announced shortly.
