Professor Paul Deemer gave a lecture on the Thursday Lecture Series on 7 December 2023, discussing some of the more important changes made to the new Model AIEN JOA adopted in 2023. He explained how the process of updating the Model JOA was conducted and some significant changes including climate change, green house gas emissions, sanctions, anti bribery & corruptions and human rights provisions. Professor Deemer is a Visiting Professor at Queen Mary University of London.
