Turing and Crick Entrepreneurship Masterclass Series 2020

On 7th, 14th & 21st July 2020, 4-6pm the Alan Turing Institute, the Francis Crick Institute and Entrepreneur First will be coming together to host the Data X Biomedical Science: Start-up Masterclass Series 2020

It’s unique opportunity for early career researchers interested in entrepreneurship or alternative routes to impact. During the four days they will connect with like-minded scientists to seed new ideas, identify collaboration opportunities, and get lessons first-hand of what's required to participate in or launch their own ventures.

Location: Zoom
Eligibility: Open to all those with expertise in data science and biomedical science, strong preference is given to researchers operating at doctoral level and above.
Fees: Attendance is free

The aim of the event is to:

  1. Inspire researchers to consider entrepreneurship as a vehicle for real-world applications of their science
  2. Expose and connect researchers to other like-minded individuals considering broader routes to impact
  3. Demystify the entrepreneurial journey from insight to idea to viable commercial solution
  4. Generate interdisciplinary collaborations in BioTech, a growth area for the UK
