QMUL’s 3 Minute Thesis Competition

The 2020 Queen Mary 3 Minute Thesis competition (3MT) will take place online on 4 June 2020 at 10:30am. 3MT is an international research communication competition, in which PhD students have three minutes to tell a non-specialist audience about their research and results. The Queen Mary winner goes on to compete against other PhD students from across the UK and could win a £3k public engagement grant from UKRI. Our finalists represent all three Faculties.

This year’s competition will be hosted on Zoom, please visit bit.ly/QMUL-3MT-2020 to register to attend. Finalists will compete for First and Second place prizes and there will be a people’s choice winner. The First-place winner will also go on to represent QMUL in the national semi-final competition. 

The finalists will be judged by a Panel of QMUL Staff and Researchers
