We are very pleased to announce that Pint of Science 2024 tickets are available!
Pint of Science is not your typical science event. It's the largest science festival in the world, happening simultaneously in around 150 cities across 24 countries. At Queen Mary, the event is organised by volunteers – mainly PhD students and postdocs. Our goal is to make science more accessible to the public, fighting misconceptions about science and scientists, all in the comforts of local pubs. This year, we have 24 scientists appearing in city watering holes, ready to engage in casual conversations about mental wellbeing, new technology to fight climate change, and how the trillions of bacteria in our gut are impacting brain function!
