PhD Entrepreneurship Programme

Conception X is a programme designed to train PhD students in technology entrepreneurship and/or to support them in building ventures based on their original research.

The nine month Conception X programme is open to current PhD students only.

For further information on the programme, please visit our website and join our online Discovery Session on 10th November 2020, 4pm GMT.

Conception X was initially launched in University College London Faculty of Engineering. We are now a not-for-profit institution that accepts students from other institutions and take no equity in startups created.

Over the past 2.5 years, over 200 venture scientists across 90+ teams have benefited from the programme, including working with clients like Deloitte and Unilever. We are building a strong community of academics, investors, industry leaders, and experts to support students.
