Early career researchers in the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, including Graduate students and postdoctoral research staff, are warmly invited to join #ECRday2022 – two days of online talks exploring life after the PhD – on Thursday 5 and Friday 6 May 2022 from 9.20am to 5.30pm BST.

A broad variety of topics will be discussed over the two days, including working on a group project, applying for specific funding schemes, visas, working with the media and moving to careers beyond the academy.

This event will primarily focus on postdoctoral fellowship schemes in the UK, Ireland and Europe and will be most useful to PhD candidates and postdocs from an Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences background. It is organised by Dr Alison Garden (UKRI Future Leaders Fellow) and Queen’s University Belfast, and is open to all those who are interested.
