The Academy of Medical Sciences is delighted to announce that abstract submission is open for the Clinical Academics in Training Annual Conference (CATAC), taking place in Bristol on Wednesday 6 May 2020 from 09.30-17.30. The deadline for abstracts is Monday 17 February 2020 at 12.00.
The Academy of Medical Sciences are looking for submissions for oral and poster competitions, which give the opportunity for sharing of research results, getting feedback from peers and Academy Fellows, and winning prizes up to £2,500. The application form and further guidelines are linked here.
CATAC, previously known as the Academy’s Spring Meeting, is a unique cross-specialty event designed to bring clinical academics together to network and present their research in a supportive environment. You can view keynote talks and research presentations from the last conference here. The event is well attended by Fellows of the Academy of Medical Sciences and other leaders in biomedical and health research, and is the ideal place for clinical academics to meet their peers from across the country.
