The Air We Inherit Art Exhibition
The CHILL Study's Young Person's Advisory Group (YPAG) hosted an art exhibition and festival at Tower Hamlets Town Hall
The young people's artwork printed as postcards for the "Write your MP" activity stall.
Last month, the CHILL study's youth advisors co-designed and lead a public art exhibition, The Air We Inherit.
This exhibition amplified young people’s voices and lived experiences of air pollution through creative storytelling and interactive activities.
We invited visitors of all ages to think about air pollution in an imaginative and accessible way, and to leave feeling informed, inspired and confident to speak up for cleaner air in their own communities.
Our Young Person's Advisory Group (YPAG) includes seven young people aged 13-16 who help shaped CHILL's research design, methods, and public engagement activities.
The young artists presented original artworks including watercolour and acrylic paintings, embroidery, collages, and photography.
To view the artwork, head over to the Public Involvement page or on our exhibition webpage.
We gratefully acknowledge the organisations and partners whose support helped bring this exhibition to life: Queen Mary Centre for Public Engagement, University of Cambridge, Tower Hamlets Council, and What’s the Matter CIC.
