Research

A number of research projects were recently undertaken. Below are some of the news reports:

• Professor Loukas Mistelis led a research team conducting an empirical study into damages and interest in ICC awards. This was made possible with the kind permission of the ICC to grant us access to unpublished awards. The research was sponsored by PwC.
• Professor Miriam Goldy investigates ways to made cross-border trade paperless.
• Professor Loukas Mistelis has worked the Corporate Counsel International Arbitration Group and Giammarco Rao and Caroline Croft to canvas the views of investors on the current Investor-State Dispute Settlement Proposals.
• Professor Loukas Mistelis has led a working group which produce a paper for T20 (Think Tank branch of G20) in Saudi Arabia looking at the Reform of ISDS and the Promotion of Trade and Investment Co-operation. The Paper and its recommendations were endorsed by G20.
