New Features
Below is a list of features added to QMplus during 2025/2026 academic year.
What is changing?
To support our ongoing effort to improve consistency across QMplus, we will lock tab settings in QMplus module areas to prevent staff from adding, removing or renaming QMplus tabs.
The change will not alter current tabs; it simply prevents the addition, deletion, or renaming of tabs by non- super admin roles. Existing tab configurations within module areas will remain unchanged. For example, if a module has 10 tabs, those tabs will continue to be available, but they will no longer be editable.
Who is affected?
The restriction will apply to staff roles within QMplus.
Exception School Super Admins (users with category-level administrative permissions) will continue to be able to manage tabs and are not affected by this.

Over the summer of 2026 we updated our Archive and Rollover process. Please view our new staff QMplus Rollover, Archive and Module life cycle process guidance.
As part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing the student learning experience, all taught modules from the 2026/27 academic year will follow a core agreed template structure. This approach has been developed collaboratively across faculties and professional services, is endorsed by Senior Leadership, and reflects agreed institutional priorities for improving the quality, accessibility and consistency of our digital learning environments.
Template implementation will take place over summer 2026 by your Faculty Digital Learning Team.
