Q-Review refers to lecture capture and scheduled teaching recordings, while EchoVideo refers to the wider platform for creating, uploading, editing, managing, and sharing video content.
Following the retirement of QMplus Media (Kaltura), its video hosting and media management functions have moved to EchoVideo, making it Queen Mary's primary platform for video-based teaching and learning.
Staff can use EchoVideo (Q-Review) to record lectures, create and upload videos, edit content, embed media in QMplus, and manage recordings through their personal media library.
Terminology note: Throughout this site, Q-Review refers to lecture capture, while EchoVideo refers to the wider video platform and media management service.
