We are very pleased to congratulate Paul Elbourne on his new book "Definite descriptions" published in Oxford University Press. In this book he challenges an important orthodoxy in the philosophy of language by arguing that definite descriptions ('the table', 'the King of France') refer to individuals, as Gottlob Frege claimed.
