Our SciVal contract is ending on 28 February 2023, and we will no longer have access to this solution for metrics and other analytical reporting.
SciVal is a research metrics reporting platform, which uses the Scopus bibliographic database as its underlying data. Our subscription to Scopus will continue as normal.
We’ll be announcing a new platform for analytics shortly.
If you have a SciVal account and have reports saved in the system or regularly use it for analysis, you will need to take an audit of any data you would like to retain and export the reports. We will help you to do this, via group or one-to-one sessions to prepare for the change; please contact researchoutcomes@qmul.ac.uk for more information.
If you have new reporting needs with a deadline early in March 2023, please contact: researchoutcomes@qmul.ac.uk and we will work with you to prepare a dataset for this purpose.
In 2021, we undertook a review of our research reporting platforms use and requirements. As a result of that process, we have entered into a new agreement which we will be announcing soon.
