Negotiations underway for a new UK Higher Education agreement with the publisher Elsevier

The current national agreement between UK Universities and the publisher Elsevier comes to an end in December 2021.

Jisc, the UK digital services provider, and Universities UK (UUK) are working to negotiate a new agreement with the publisher, that will incorporate both read access (subscription) and publishing (open access publishing) in the journals that they publish, for the first time.  To find out more about the background to the negotiations, read the article Queen Mary University of London and Elsevier.
