Desk check-in now in operation

In response to feedback asking us to release unoccupied booked seats so that others can book them, we are introducing a check-in system from Tuesday 4th May 2021.

Check-in is open from 15 minutes before until 30 minutes after the start of the booking slot.  After that time, the desk is released and becomes available for re-booking.  An email reminder is sent 2 hours before the booking start time, with a link to check in; QR codes will also be available for quick check-in at desks.

Anyone who misses the 30 minutes can re-book on arrival, and staff will be available to help and answer questions.

This information applies to the following spaces:

  • Mile End Library
  • Whitechapel Library
  • West Smithfield Library
  • Graduate Centre 7th Floor Study Space
  • Canalside
  • The Hive
