Hour of code

When: December 5th, 2:00-3:30 pm & December 6th, 10:00-11:30am

Where: Ms Teams and in Training Room in the Mile End Library

Who can join: All Queen Mary students and staff. Anyone interested in an introduction to coding.

Why: Build up hands-on knowledge around coding through an interactive self-directed hour of code. It is an opportunity to learn the basics of coding, and see if it might be for you.

How: There will be lots of different activities available. Create your first website. Play games while using codes. Organise a dance party. Everything is possible!

Requirements: Head-set/headphones if you are in a silent space or in an office (like in any of the Queen Mary libraries). Computer with internet access.

To book a space for the session:

Go to the CPD booking system and search for 'Hour of Code'.

Good and informative session. I will carry on looking into coding.
Really enjoyed the session and the games, will probably try to play the games at home! :)
