MedLine Plus - up-to-date, quality healthcare information in understandable language from the US National Library of Medicine (NLM), aimed at health professionals as well as patients and their families

TRIP - is very user-friendly and categorises results enabling you to immediately identify high quality clinical information. QMUL has access to Trip Pro, which has more content and functionality than the free version. 

 

Healthcare education platforms

Clinical Key - a medical learning environment providing access to key textbooks, high resolution images and instructional videos designed to support medical students through medical school into clinical practice. Please note, the textbooks are also available through the Library Search

LWW Health Library - interactive online access to key textbooks, procedural videos, images, case studies, and quiz banks for medical and health science students and practitioners.

BMJ Learning  - peer-reviewed online learning modules, written by experts and based on the latest medical evidence.

Visible Body - Comprehensive 3D reference and study platform for anatomy, physiology, and pathology

 

Evidence Based Summaries provide an up-to-date, accurate summary of the evidence on a topic, sometimes in as little as one sentence.

CKS - provides quick answers to real life clinical questions based on the evidence

BMJ Best Practice - clinical decision support tool providing evidence-based guidance on diagnosis, prognoisis, treatment and prevention

Evidence-Based Medicine - BMJ journal which presents key details of essential studies in a succinct, informative abstract

NIHR Evidence - provides plain language summaries of peer-reviewd research funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research
