At this online webinar and Q&A, Dr Louise Ashley discussed her recently published book Highly Discriminating: Why the City isn’t Fair and Diversity Doesn’t Work with Sophie Pender (Chair and Founder of the 93% Club) and QMUL Alumni. The book draws on research, interviews, practitioner literature and internal reports, to show how hiring practices in the City have been highly discriminating in favour of a narrow pool of affluent applicants.
