Discussion with Professor Ania Loomba, Global Professorial Fellow at the Schools of the Arts, hosted by the QMUL Forum for the Study of Empire and its Afterlives

Join the organisers for an evening with Professor Ania Loomba (University of Pennsylvania). Professor Loomba, a Global Professorial Fellow at the Schools of the Arts, is a world-renowned and pioneering scholar of early modern literature, postcolonial and feminist studies, and histories of race and colonialism, whose latest monograph is Revolutionary Desires: women, communism, and feminism in India (Routledge 2018). In this exciting and timely talk, Professor Loomba explores the "problems and possibilities" that attend the formation of new fields of inquiry, focusing particularly on Postcolonial Studies and its more recent iteration, rival, or usurper, Decolonial Studies.

The talk will be followed by a drinks reception.
