Professor Tolan has served on and chaired the ERC’s history panel (SH6: The Study of the Human Past) and has held numerous large grants for collaborative projects, including currently an ERC Synergy grant on 'The European Qu’ran’. This workshop is chaired by Dr Andrew Mendelsohn, Director of Research Funding in the School of History, and previous recipient of ERC funding. We will also welcome Vicky Byers, Senior EU Partnerships Manager.
