'Food Subjects' Reading Group
The School of Geography are starting a new 'Food Subjects' reading group. All welcome!
This term we are going to focus primarily on meat and its relationship to questions of race, class and gender. We are beginning with Noellie Vialles, Animal to Edible (1994) and then we will see where the conversation leads us after the first session.
At the end of the meeting, we'll also have a short discussion about some initial ideas we had for food related events over the coming year (film screenings etc).
