IHSS Visiting Fellow Professor James Steintrager's (University of California, Irvine) Lecture

With reference to the so-called weird fiction of the 1920s and 30s, the lecture explores the complex, networked interactions among reading, sound and sonic technologies, in addition to reflexions on contemporary and changing media ecologies.

About the Event

A wine reception will follow the lecture.

The organisers welcome all across Queen Mary and beyond but please sign up on the Eventbrite page to join.

This event is funded by the IHSS Visiting Fellowship Scheme. It serves as the concluding session of ‘Sounding Literature’ workshops which were funded via the IHSS Early Career Workshop Funding Scheme.

The event is co-organised with the School of Languages Linguistics and Film.
