Joining as a Participant

Learn more about how you can join the DIADEM study and contribute to research on dementia. 

Get Involved in Our Study

We are a dedicated team of clinicians and researchers working to improve the speed and accuracy of dementia diagnosis at memory clinics. Your participation can make a significant difference and contribute to our research. 

Who Can Participate?

You may be eligible to participate in our study if:

  • You have previously visited a memory clinic for an assessment.
  • You have not visited a memory clinic but are interested in participating as a healthy control, and you are over the age of 55.

What Does Participation Involve?

If you choose to get involved, your participation would require between 1 - 1.5 hours of your time. During this session, we will:

  • Conduct a digital hearing test.
  • Ask you a series of memory-related questions.
  • Perform a blood test.

With your consent, we will also access relevant information from your medical records to enhance the accuracy of our study. We may contact you again in 12 and 24 months to invite you to participate in follow-up sessions.
